It usually takes between 1– 8 hours trek to find the Mountain gorillas.

The activity is surely strenuous but then again fully rewarding on sight of the huge gorillas, you will be able to take pictures and observe their various characters as they feed play and relate. You are allowed a full hour with these creatures and thereafter head back to the park headquarters for a certificate reward.

Head for a boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi in which you will visit several islands as you learn about the lake and the history of the people living in the area. Return to the hotel, pack up and then embark on the journey to Kampala with a stopover at Igongo cultural centre where you will have lunch and also take a mini-tour in the centre to know more about the Ankole culture.

Head to Jinja for yet another adventure. Visit one of Africa’s longest and most famous rivers, which sit in the lively town of Jinja. For all the nations it travels through before coming to a conclusion in Egypt, which is located far to the north, the Nile has long been a representation of life and prosperity.

White water rafting, kayaking, quad biking, bungee jumping, and horseback riding among decaying colonial ruins are just a few of the thrilling activities available in Jinja, which has quickly emerged as East Africa’s adrenaline capital. Natural beauty is always nearby. For those who prefer the softer aspects of life, leisurely nature hikes along the riverbank and boat rides on Lake Bujagali are available.

Jinja’s heart-pounding white water rafting is the city’s primary attraction. Rapids are available in three different levels. Class five rapids are for experts and adrenaline junkies, class three rapids are for intermediates, and class two rapids are for families and beginners. The trip package will also include images of the experience, helmets, life jackets, and safety instruction.

At A drift’s Nile High Camp, a 44-meter bungee jump is offered for the daring or foolish if you’re seeking for an added thrill. Although it is possible to bungee jump both during the day and at night, most people choose to do so during the day to fully understand how absurd it is to plunge to your death before putting your fingertips into the Nile as the elastic pulls you to safety. The Nile is one of the best rivers in the world for white-water kayaking.
