Kulu Ora. Kulu Ora Lodge is an exclusive eco – luxury retreat situated within Uganda’s Murchison Falls National Park along the banks of the Nile River. This lodge occupies a pristine 400-square-kilometer private concession, offering guests unparalleled access to the park’s diverse wildlife and dramatic landscapes.

The lodge features 10 spacious canvas-walled rooms including 9 standard units and a family suite. Each room is thoughtfully designed with private plunge pools and outdoor bathtubs, allowing guests to immerse themselves in nature while enjoying modern comforts. Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge. It can be used by visitors who are on Bwindi gorilla safari tours starting from Entebbe in Uganda or Kigali in Rwanda. Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge is the highest lodge in Uganda perched at an altitude of around 2,100m/6,889ft on a forested ridge close to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park’s Nkuringo Gate.

It offers breathtaking views, luxurious accommodations and personalized gorilla trekking adventures. Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge is owned and operated by Wild Places, having been built in partnership with the Uganda Wildlife Authority and among others.  Gorilla treks based from Clouds are some of the most physically demanding in the whole of Bwindi.

Clouds’ guest accommodation consists of 10 cottages including two for families. Constructed from local volcanic stone, all boast views of the volcanoes themselves, as well as the gorgeous forest of Bwindi. The family option is effectively a double cottage, containing two bedrooms and two en-suite bathrooms.

Both options have comfy beds and bedding and a large lounge area featuring overstuffed armchairs and a handwoven carpet, a cozy fireplace and very well-appointed en-suite facilities including flush toilet, twin wash basins, and walk-in shower and each cottage has a lovely private veranda where you can relax.

Clouds lodge offers an exhilarating range of activities not only the gorilla trekking safaris for which Bwindi is famous, but other wildlife and cultural experiences too.

Apoka Safari Lodge. Apoka Safari Lodge is built around a picturesque rocky outcrop overlooking the Narus Valley in the southwestern sector of Kidepo Valley National Park, the Uganda’s most remote park.

Apoka has 10 spacious rooms, each with two queen size beds, a private en-suite bathroom, private veranda and a large outdoor stone bathroom that is the perfect spot to relax and soak up the views after a long day’s exploring.

There is a large central building where you will find a bar, dining area and common lounge area which leads on to a swimming pool.

The lodge is protected by a rocky hill with about 10 beautifully furnished rooms which offer endless views across the grassy savannah and interiors that take their cue from the environment.

Rock, wood and natural hues work alongside hand-crafted wooden beds which are romantically draped with soft mosquito nets.

The lodge has hand-woven woolen carpets which offer an element of added warmth and secluded sitting rooms and private verandas cater for quiet moments.

The lodge also has a lovely en-suite bathroom featuring a large tropical shower and deep outdoor bathtub perfect for refreshing after a successful day of game viewing.

Papa’s Camp. Located in Murchison Falls National Park; Papa’s Camp offers an idyllic riverside experience on the southern bank of the Nile. Semliki Safari Lodge. It is located in western Uganda on the Semliki Valley Wildlife Reserve. Semliki Safari Lodge is a luxury lodge with a reputation for providing guests with a real Ugandan bush experience. It was built using stones, wood and thatches. It consists of 8 tents and they share amenities such as a lounge, bar, veranda, dining area, library and swimming pool.

The rooms are raised on wooden platforms and protected by heavily thatched and they give customers comfort. Some tents possess a separate bathroom, own veranda, a double or twin bed, space to change in and a small seating area.  Wi-Fi is accessible in the reception area.

Activities done by those who wish to stay at Semliki Safari Lodge include trips to spot the shoe bill, general bird watching, tracking forest elephant and Ugandan kob, boating, fishing and guided walks. The delicious dishes are served by hospitable staff.
